Krista is the Executive Administrator for Hip Hop Congress-National and Program Director for it's Women's Project. She recieved her B.A. from UC Santa Cruz in Community Studies. Her research project, "The Block: A Hip Hop Ethnography" which touches on issues of street culture, Hip Hop has an industry, authentically ethical ethnography and whiteness received Department Honors. Krista also enjoys writing poetry, fiction and non-fiction of all kinds. She is currently working on raising her three kids to rise up!
